with The Heatwave, Sancho Panza, The Village and Hat Club

Hot Wuk is back on Friday and The Heatwave crew set up shop for another explosion of Caribbean hype. 100% dancing + 100% smiling + 100% passion. Plus support comes from the legendary hitmaker Sticky. Hot Wuk is ticket only so check out the listings page for ticket link.
Saturday Sancho Panza have an extended party (5am finish!) as part of their 20th anniversary celebrations at this their only London residency. Residents Jimmy K-Tel and Matt Brown and EV’s Stuart Patterson are joined by special guests Soul Mekanik. Plus upstairs Big Stuff with Femi Fem and Barrie K Sharpe play 70′s funk with a touch of soul, reggae and disco.
Sunday’s bank holiday double header sees The Village back in the lounge for their monthly excursion with the excellent residents, Phil Levene and Ginger Tony dropping the finest Jazzy, Funky, Afro, Broken and Soulful contemporary beats, plus for May, they’ll be teaming up with West London’s Jazz re:freshed crew.
Downstairs, following their famous boat party on the Thames, they bring the deep and tech house with Damien Stone, Dave Lee, Justin Pywell, Lee Garrett, Vince, Frimpong and Danny Keston. No Hat, No Entry!!

Rootikal

BASEMENT: A deep and heavy night in store as Rootikal play host to selectors from two of the UK's top sound systems, regulars Channel One and for the first time at the club, Iration Steppas. Representign Channel One will be the righteous sounds played by Channel One's Mikey Dread and the unique spiritual message from DJ Ras Kayleb. For Iration Steppas, Mark Iration and Danman, will bring their experience and knowledge from playing at dub clubs and festivals all over the world and will be offering a more roots focussed flavour for the occasion. The Rootikal crew of David Hill and Mr Faso will also be digging deep into their roots dub baskets and will be joined by Oxman on the mic.
LOUNGE:  7-inch only selections of Soul, Funk, Hip Hop and Electronica from Size Doesn't Matter's Si Kurrage and Michael Mastomic plus Stuart Patterson and Richio Suzuki.
